The Petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus to the respondents for grant of second time bound promotion to the Petitioner with effect from 17.5.1987 when the Petitioner has completed 25 years of service in the revised pay scale of Rs.50008000/- with effect from 1.1.1996 in pursuance to a Government circular in this regard.
A Counter Affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondents No.2 and 3 wherein in Paragraph 8 it has been stated that the provisional second time bond promotion and the revision of pay scale with effect from the said date has been done and forwarded to
Patna High Court CWJC No.16275 of 2007 dt.20-02-2015 2/2 the A.G., Bihar. In all probability, the Petitioner must have got the benefit of the same.
Hence, the application is dismissed as having become infructuous.
