The petitioner apprehends her arrest in connection with Narhat (Sitamarhi) P.S. Case No.59 of 2015 for the offences punishable under sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner happens to be the sister-in-law of the deceased.

Mr. Birendra Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner with reference to the FIR placed at Annexure-1 has submitted that although the marriage has taken place more than ten years ago and the allegation is against the husband of the deceased but it is only because that the petitioner happens to be the sister of the husband of the deceased that she has been roped in the matter with nothing specific against her in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52974 of 2015 (2) dt.17-12-2015 the FIR. He submits that the petitioner is a married lady and is residing in different village.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the circumstances existing let the petitioner, namely, Devmanti Devi in the event of her arrest or surrender within four weeks from today be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.-III, Nawada in connection with Narhat (Sitamarhi) P.S. Case No.59 of 2015 subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
