Petitioner apprehends his arrest in Motihari Town P.S. Case No. 48 of 2016 registered under section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Although he is not named in the F.I.R. but the informant has alleged that while she was coming out of the ATM after withdrawing money, the petitioner snatched the amount from her hand and tried to escape on motorcycle. A chase was immediately offered and deserting the motorcycle, he made good his escape. Indisputably, during investigation, the motorcycle was found registered in the name of the petitioner.
