The petitioners seek anticipatory bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 341, 323, 307, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner no.2, namely, Bhujendra Rai, has already been arrested.

Accordingly petition against petitioner no.2 has been rendered infructuous and the same is dismissed as having become infructuous.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, let petitioner no.1, namely, Santosh Rai, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Samastipur in connection with Patori P.S.
