The petitioner, who is in custody since 04.01.2020 seeks bail in connection with Barauni (Chakiya) P.S. Case No. 4/2020 dated 03.01.2020 [G.R. No. 11/2020] instituted for the offences under Sections 353, 307, 379, 511 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

The police party spotted few persons trying to cut electric wire in the N.T.P.C. premises. Firing was resorted to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21907 of 2020(2) dt.09-07-2020 2/2 but admittedly nobody appears to have been injured. From the possession of one Satish Kumar, one loaded country made pistol and live cartridge was recovered. From the house of one of the arrested accused persons, electric wire also was recovered.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that there is no recovery from the possession of the petitioner and he is a person of clean antecedent. Regard being had to the afore-stated facts, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai, in connection with Barauni (Chakiya) P.S. Case No. 4/2020, [G.R. No. 11/2020].
