In the present case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Mashrakh P.S. Case No. 332 of 2016 for offence under Sections 406, 420, 467, 478 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the main person against whom there is direct allegation has been granted bail.
As the petitioner has a criminal antecedent, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24045 of 2017 (2) dt.01-07-2017 Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner, namely, Kripa Shankar Dwivedi is rejected.
However, if the petitioner would surrender before the court below within a period of two weeks from today, the court below will pass orders in accordance with law on the same day without being prejudiced by this order.
