It is being pointed out by learned counsel for the State that the present application is misconceived as under the provisions of Section 14(a) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, an appeal is maintainable against the order of bail rejecting the case of the petitioner.

In view of such circumstances, learned counsel for the petitioner is granted permission to convert the same into an appeal under the relevant provisions of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. (Anjana Mishra, J) Saif/- U T
