JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER 11-07-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that only bald allegations have been made against him and so far the allegation of forged signature is concerned, it has been disclosed in the order of Sessions Judge especially in paragraph 8 that none of the persons whose statements have been recorded under Section 161 Cr.P.C. made any complaint before lodging the FIR and his licence has already been cancelled on such allegation. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, namely, Satya Narain Prasad be released

No.26374 of 2016 (2) dt.11-07-2016 2/2 on bail in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Mainatand P.S. Case No.21/2016, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000 (Ten Thousand Rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran subject to the conditions as laid down under sub-section (2) of Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
