2. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Lalganj P.S. Case No. 101/2025 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. As per the allegation made in the FIR, 86.25 litres of illicit liquor was recovered from a Bolero vehicle bearing Registration No.WB20G7686. Two co-accused persons were apprehended and they disclosed the name of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that petitioner is innocent and petitioner is neither involved in illicit trade of liquor, nor the vehicle in question belongs to him.

5. Learned APP for the State vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of pre-arrest bail.

6. Considering the nature of allegation made in the FIR and name of the petitioner has surfaced in this case on the basis of confessional statement of apprehended co-accused persons and petitioner has given information that he is not the owner of the said vehicle, nor it is a stolen vehicle, the District Transport Officer, Vaishali is directed to submit a report with specific information of the owner on the basis of its registration number before the learned District Court forthwith. In case, the said vehicle is not registered in the name of petitioner, in that case, the petitioner is directed to be released on pre-arrest bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned District Court within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No.1-cum-Additional District and Sessions Judge, Vaishali at Hajipur / Concerned Court in
