01-07-2017 Heard Sri Vijay Kumar Sinha, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor as well as Sri Suresh Singh, learned counsel, who has appeared on behalf of informant. The petitioner, who is one of the named accused in the F.I.R. in Sigori P.S. Case No. 84 of 2016 (G.R. No. 2585 of 2016) registered for offence under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code, has prayed for grant of bail in the event of arrest or surrender.

It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that it is true that in the F.I.R., there was allegation against the petitioner that he caught hold of the father of the informant and thereafter, his son gave spade blow on the head, but during supervision, the Dy. S.P. had found the case untrue.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21825 of 2017 (2) dt.01-07-2017 2/2 Considering the specific accusation against the petitioner in the F.I.R., there is no reason to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail.
