Apprehending his arrest in connection with Spl. Excise Case No.522 of 2017 arising out of Sadar (Mufassil) P.S.Case No.86 of 2016 registered for the offences under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47(a) of the Excise Act, the petitioner has filed the present application under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of prearrest bail. Regarding being had to the recovery of huge quantity of illicit liquor from the house of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail

In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same shall be considered on its own merits without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
