1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(I) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent authority to declare Dev Kumari Devi as wife of Raj Kumar Dushad who was mother of petitioner and she died on 6th February 2009.
(II) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus directing to the respondent authority to declare Rita Devi Daughter of Chandrika Paswan is not wife of Raj Kumar Dusadh (father of petitioner) because she was
Patna High Court CWJC No.6246 of 2024(2) dt.01-07-2024 2/2 earlier married to one Munna Paswan of village Giriyak Puraini. The mental condition of Rita Devi was not good, because of which her husband Munna Paswan left her.
(iii) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus directing to the respondent authority prohibited /restrained the respondent no.6 Rita Devi to collect the remaining amount, because brother of Rita Devi to father of petitioner by intimidation and blackmail and name of Rita Devi was put in the Pension book, due to which did not get the full amount, but Rita Devi and her brothers are engaged to collect the remaining amount."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
3. The writ petition stands dismissed.
