The petitioner has approached this Court with a grievance that the respondents are keeping the matter pending for reimbursement of medical expenses incurred by the petitioner on the treatment of his wife.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that certain queries have been made by the respondents from the petitioner and on furnishing those details, the State will appropriately decide the claim of the petitioner for reimbursement of medical expenses incurred by the petitioner on treatment of his wife.

Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed

Patna High Court CWJC No.7086 of 2020(3) dt.14-09-2020 2/2 of with a direction to the respondents to appropriately decide the claim of the petitioner for reimbursement of medical expenses within a period of six weeks from the date of furnishing the details by the petitioner. The respondents are obliged to provide detailed calculation chart as to admissibility of the medical bill and if the respondents refuse payment against any head of the medical bill, they have to assign reasons for refusal of medical reimbursement by reasoned and speaking order. The entire exercise as to the final adjudication of the claim of medical reimbursement for treatment of wife of the petitioner must be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and entire payment admissible on account of medical expenses incurred by the petitioner on treatment of his wife shall be made within the time frame indicated above.

With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
