The petitioner is in custody in connection with Akodhigola P.S. Case No. 76 of 2011 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 353, 307, 386 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1-b)a, 26, 27, 35 of Arms Act and Section 17 C.L.A. Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 09.02.2019. He further submits that petitioner was among the 40-50 persons involved in realizing levy from the bricks kiln owners. He further submits that the name of the petitioner was surfaced on confessional statement of co-accused Dularchand Yadav, who was granted bail by co-ordinate Bench of this Court

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21535 of 2019(2) dt.05-04-2019 2/2 and six other persons have been granted bail by co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 10332 of 2012. Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and his name surfaced on confessional statement of co-accused, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Dehri, Rohtas in connection with Akodhigola P.S. Case No. 76 of 2011 with condition that both the bailors should be elected representative of local body.
