Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 50 of 2019 registered under Section 376D of the Indian Penal Code and Section 6/10 of POCSO Act.

Petitioner's prayer for bail had earlier been rejected on 09.06.2020 by the order of this Court passed in Cr. Misc. No. 18992 of 2022.

The prayer has now been renewed by the instant proceedings. The petitioner is in custody now since 28.12.2019. Under earlier order passed in this case, report was called for from the trial court.

The report of the trial court suggests that the matter is now only pending for conclusion of evidence on behalf of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27066 of 2023(4) dt.21-06-2023 2/2 defence.

In view of the fact that trial is nearing conclusion and taking into consideration rejection of petitioner's prayer for bail earlier by this Court, this Court would reject the petitioner's prayer for bail.

The application for bail is thus dismissed.
