The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(I) For issuance of an appropriate writ/s, order/s, direction/s in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent to make O.D. Entry of the license no. 101/DMR of pistol of the petitioner in the district of Muzaffarpur on the basis of the Unique Identification Number 051820020897052015 of the petitioner, which already exists in central National Data Base Of Arms Licence (For short" NDAL") system, endorsing the licence of the petitioner as per rule 17 of the Arms Rules, 2016 as the petitioner who was issued arms licence by the District Magistrate of Ramban (J&K), while he was serving as army personnel there, has now permanently shifted to his

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur to dispose off the aforesaid application, filed by the petitioner in the year 2019-20.

Having regard to the limited prayer, made by the petitioner, in the present writ petition, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur to dispose off the aforesaid application, filed by the petitioner, in case the same has actually been filed and is still pending consideration, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
