This Court would expect that the petitioner's counsel would honour his undertaking in the instant proceedings regarding supply of the requisite court fee etc. within two weeks from the date he is called upon to do so by the office. As per allegation made in the FIR, the informant's minor daughter has been raped by the petitioner while she was sleeping in her room. On the informant's intervention he too has been thrashed.

Considering the matter on merits, having regard to the medical examination of the victim and her statement under Section 164 Cr. P.C., this Court has rejected the prayer for bail on 27-09-2021. The prayer has been renewed by way of instant

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24153 of 2022(3) dt.06-07-2022 2/2 application.

In view of the heinous nature of offence and consideration of the material on record, in the order dated 27-09-2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 14777 of 2021 (Annexure1), this Court is not inclined to take a different view even today. The petition is rejected.
