2. State counsel accepts notice for respondents.

3. Counsel for the petitioner is hereby directed to serve copy of the writ petition to the counsel for the State/respondents, if it is not already served.

4. In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following relief/reliefs:

Patna High Court CWJC No.10337 of 2021 dt.25-02-2022 2/3 "(i) For directing and commanding the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioner for grant the benefits/increments in basic salary to the tune of 15%, pursuant to order issued by the Department vide Letter no. BRDS/1395 GR BI - 09 (BRDS)- 45/2017, Patna, dated 08.11.2018, by which Department has decided to grant the benefits of increment fixing different slabs, on the basis of period, experience in service rendered in Department. (ii) For any other appropriate relief/reliefs to which the petitioner is found entitled in the facts and circumstances of this case."

The aforesaid relief is supported by representations vide Annexure 8 series to this petition, therefore, the respondent No. 2 - The Principal Secretary, Rural Development Department, Government of Bihar, Patna is hereby directed to examine the petitioner's representations and its contents as to whether petitioner is entitled to benefit of increments in the basic salary to the tune of 15 % pursuant to the order dated 08.11.2018 or not? If petitioner is entitled, in that event, necessary order shall be passed while calculating arrears of amount and disbursing the same. If he is not entitled, in that event, reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner as to why he is not entitled to the relief sought by him. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of three months.

6. With the above observations, writ petition stand disposed off.
