============================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE DR. JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER

02. 01.09.2016 Heard parties.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 385, 307 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the allegation, the petitioner has assaulted Ashish Kumar, however, it is contended that injury is superficial and simple in nature. Both sides are next door neighbour and it would be improbable that a person along with entire family comes to the house of neighbours and demands extortion money. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, namely, Pankaj Singh be released on bail in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31611 of 2016 (2) dt.01-09-2016 within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Narhat P.S. Case No. 16/2016, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000 (Ten Thousand Rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nawada subject to the conditions as laid down under sub-section

(2) of Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure with a further condition that, if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in criminal case of similar nature, the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bonds.
