2. This is the second attempt for bail of the petitioner as earlier such prayer was rejected by order dated 06.09.2023 in Cr. Misc. No. 41120 of 2023.

3. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Derni P.S. Case No. 162 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 201 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

4. The petitioner and other accused persons are said to have stabbed the deceased. The petitioner is in jail since 08.09.2022.

5. Learned counsel for the informant submits that one witness has been examined. He further undertakes to produce witnesses on the date fixed in the trial.

6. In view of the above, this application is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail if the trial is not concluded within six months.
