The petitioners seek bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 342, 304B, 201 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the accused persons is of committing torture and thereafter caused death of the victim due to non-fulfilment of demand of dowry.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the petitioners are in custody since 9.1.2019 and have got no criminal antecedent. There is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioners. Charge-sheet has been

The petitioners are other than family members of the husband of the deceased. The petitioners have got no concern with the alleged occurrence. At best, an offence under Section 201 IPC is attracted against the petitioners.

On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioners are named in the F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, it is directed that the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. VI, Nalanda at Biharsharif in connection with Asthawan P.S. Case No. 6/19.
