JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 07-03-2018 The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on account of unavoidable circumstances, the petitioner could not surrender within the prescribed time frame for the purposes of him being granted anticipatory bail.
In the interest of justice, I deem it fit and appropriate to impose a cost of Rs. 50,000/- (Rs. Fifty thousand) to the petitioner herein.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to pay the aforesaid amount, for the purposes of extension of time frame, which has been prescribed by the earlier order dated 4.1.2018 for the purpose of enabling the petitioner to surrender and obtain anticipatory bail. It is directed that the petitioner may deposit a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rs. Fifty thousand) with the Patna High Court Legal
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12742 of 2018 (2) dt.07-03-2018 2/2 Services Committee within a period of three weeks from today and thereafter surrender before the concerned court in connection with Babibpur PS Case No. 75 of 2016 within a period of four weeks from today and show the receipt of deposit of Rs. 50,000/- before the concerned court for the purpose of him being admitted to the privilege of anticipatory bail.
Accordingly, the time frame provided in order dated 4.1.2018 stands extended and the present petition is disposed of. (Mohit Kumar Shah, J) BTiwary/- U T
