JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 29-09-2020 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Barbigha (O.P Keoti) P.S. Case No. 155 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 304(B), 201, 120(B) and 341 of the Indian Pena1Code.

Petitioner is the husband of the deceased. The marriage took place between the deceased and the petitioner on 18.05.2019 and in mysterious circumstances, wife of the petitioner disappeared from the matrimonial house and only after lodging of the present case, dead body of the deceased (wife of the petitioner) was discovered from Gangti Khanda. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is

From the materials available on record, the Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The prayer for bail is rejected.

However, the court below is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of nine months.
