The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 384, 385 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, the informant states that she came to learn that Subodh Kumar an accused in one another case lodged by her had obtained bail on the basis a forged compromise petition purportedly signed by her. It is stated that the accused persons including the petitioner herein came and threatened her that she should not disclose in the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25053 of 2022(3) dt.13-01-2023 2/3 court that the compromise petition was forged and that she had not signed the same.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that although the petitioner is named in the FIR, he has been falsely implicated in the case. He has no concern with the bail application of Subodh Kumar referred in the FIR. Further referring to the order annexed as Annexure-2, it is submitted that the learned court in the relevant case took up the matter with respect to the forged compromise petition filed on behalf of the informant and proceeded by order dated 9.2.2022 to grant bail to the said Subodh Kumar. The petitioner is in custody since 7.3.2022 and chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner specially the order brought on record as Annexure-2 to the petition, the petitioner having remained in custody since 7.3.2022 and the investigation in the case having concluded, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Siwaipatti P.S. Case no. 5 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand)
