Mr. Anisul Haque, learned Assisting Counsel to Additional Advocate General No.9 with reference to the letter of the Director, Panchayati Raj Department dated 5.1.2016 present at Annexure-B to the counter affidavit submits that the show cause notice dated 4.7.2014 impugned in the present writ petition has since been withdrawn. He thus submits that in view of the position the writ petition has become infructuous. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the show cause notice which has been questioned in the present writ petition has since been withdrawn by the department the writ petition stands disposed of.
