JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE) Date: 11-01-2017 The petitioner has invoked the writ jurisdiction of this Court in public interest claiming a direction to the Principal Secretary, Revenue, regarding transfer of land allotted to the landless persons. The petitioner asserts that he is not directly or indirectly affected in respect of the land in question, but has filed the writ application for the general public benefits.

We find that the petitioner is a busy body and has filed the present petition not for bona fide cause. If any landless person, who has been allotted land, has any grievance, such person can invoke the jurisdiction of the competent authority, but the petitioner, who has no

Patna High Court CWJC No.17222 of 2015 dt.11-01-2017 2/2 concern with the land, cannot espouse the cause of the allottees. We do not find any merit in the present petition. The same is dismissed.
