Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to remove defect(s), as pointed out by the office, if any, within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Ghoshi P.S. Case No. 412 of 2020, registered for the offence under Section 20(a), 20(b), and 22 of the NDPS Act. The petitioner has been found to be involved in cultivating Ganja plants.

It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the land has not been properly identified by the police as to whether the same belong to the petitioner or not and there is no report of any officer in support of the same. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for anticipatory

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35526 of 2021(2) dt.11-04-2022 2/2 bail and has submitted that the independent witnesses have informed the raiding party that the petitioner was also involved in cultivating ganja on his agricultural land and seeing the police he has fled away.

Considering the aforesaid facts that the petitioner is involved in illegal cultivation of ganja and I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail.
