1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant.
2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 316(2), 318(4), 338, 336(3), 336(4), 352, 351(2) and 3(5) of the BNS.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has antecedent of one case. It is further submitted that Deepa Kumari had approached this Court seeking anticipatory bail by filing Cr. Misc. No. 21462 of 2026 and the same came to be allowed vide order dated 09.04.2026 after considering the case in detail and on merits by this Court. It is next submitted that Deepa Kumari was agranted the privilege of anticipatory
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23698 of 2026(3) dt.31-07-2026 2/3 bail on the ground that she is wife of Gaurav Kumar against whom, the thrust of the allegation is alleged in the FIR. It is also submitted that petitioner, being father of Gaurav Kumar, came to be implicated with general and omnibus allegation. It is, thus, submitted that case of the petitioner if not akin is similar to the case of Deepa Kumari. It is submitted that Gaurav Kumar is in custody.

Learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner but then learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant is not in a position to rebut the submissions of the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that thrust of the allegation is against Gaurav Kumar and the allegation against the petitioner, who is father of Gaurav Kumar, is general and omnibus in nature.
5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, let the petitioner, above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court where the case is pending/Successor
