The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Kahalgaon (Ghogha) P.S. Case No.375 of 2016 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the allegation made in the first information report that the petitioner and others opened indiscriminate firing causing injuries to two persons, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.

In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18259 of 2018 (2) dt.05-04-2018 2/2 shall be considered on its own merits without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
