JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 26-02-2020 Pursuant to the last order dated 17.02.2020, learned counsel for the petitioner has got instruction and submits before this Court that the petitioner is ready to deposit the ad-interim maintenance amount Rs. 4,000/- per month and the total outstanding amount so far which according to him would come approximately 2,05,000/-, he undertakes to deposit within three months in three equal installments of Rs. 69,000/- approximately per month in the court below by way of a demand draft in favour of the wife-opposite party no. 2. Apart from that he would continue to pay the current maintenance amount at the rate of Rs. 4,000/- per month.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is looking for a settlement with the opposite party no.

2. If the petitioner so willing, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file an appropriate application in the court of learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Vaishali at Hajipur and on filing of such application, the same will be sent to the mediation centre attached to the court where both the parties shall sit together and discuss the settlement if any possible. Learned counsel for the opposite party no. 2 submits that the petitioner must ensure compliance of this order, failing which the opposite party no. 2 be granted liberty to bring it to the notice of this Court for initiation of an appropriate proceeding.
Liberty is granted to that extent to the opposite party no. 2.
Subject to payment of the total outstanding amount as per his undertaking by the petitioner as indicated in his submission, the impugned order dated 19.12.2017 is modified to the extent that the petitioner shall continue to pay a sum of Rs. 4,000/- per month to his wife by 15th day of every month in the manner indicated hereinabove.
