Instant modification application has been filed for modification of order dated 16.03.2020 passed in Cr. Misc No.74261/2019 in order to extend the period of surrender of the petitioner by further two weeks.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on account of existing pandemic situation of COVID-19, the petitioner could not surrender before the court below within the prescribed time of four weeks for furnishing bail bonds as earlier granted vide order dated 16.03.2020 passed in Cr. Misc

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the order dated 16.03.2020 passed in Cr. Misc No.74261/2019 is, hereby, modified only to the extent that the period of time granted for surrender of the petitioner is extended by further two weeks.
