2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Chutia P.S. Case No.35 of 2023, lodged under Sections 341, 323, 504, 506, 366(a) and 34 of the I.P.C.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner has earlier been rejected vide order dated 17.10.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No.67161 of 2023.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the progress report has been called for. From the report, it transpires that three witnesses have been examined and three more witnesses have to be examined and the expected time in completion of trial is 4-5 months as reported by the Special Court.

5. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby refused.
