The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Shahpur P.S. Case No. 213/2013, registered for the offences punishable under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant alleged that her daughter had gone to attend the call of nature, but the petitioner tried to outrage her modesty. On alarm, the petitioner fled away.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no eye-witness of the occurrence. None of the witnesses supports the case of the prosecutrix, but it appears that victim has very categorically stated that it was the petitioner who made an attempt to outrage her modesty and caught her hand. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to
