JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD) 12-05-2026 Pursuant to our order dated 07.05.2026, the Corpus has been traced and she has been produced before the learned Magistrate where her statement under Section 183 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been recorded.

2. The Corpus is present in the Chambers with the SHO and the Investigating Officer of the case. In presence of learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned AC to AG, she has stated that she does not want to go with the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.805 of 2026(4) dt.12-05-2026 2/2 and she wants to go back to Lucknow where she is presently residing and is earning her livelihood.

3. A copy of the Secondary School Certificate issued by the Bihar School Examination Board has been produced before this Court from which it appears that the Corpus has passed her 10th Examination in the year 2024. Her date of birth recorded in the certificate is 20.04.2008. Thus, as on today, she is a major and is competent to take her own decisions.

4. Keeping in view these facts, we set the Corpus at free to go to her place wherever she wants to reside.

5. This writ application cannot proceed further. It is dismissed accordingly.
