This writ application has been filed seeking a direction the respondents to pay full and final amount of compensation for acquisition of their land under the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. From the Annexures, which have been brought on record, it appears that award has been prepared and the

Patna High Court CWJC No.8468 of 2019(2) dt.25-04-2019 2/2 petitioners were asked to come forward to receive the award. From Annexure-3, it appears that the petitioner no. 1 has received the award and accordingly he has been asked to remove the structure from the said land, subject matter of acquisition. The petitioners, however, claim that the amount of compensation has not been paid to them.

There is nothing on record to substantiate the petitioners' claim that the amount, which has been paid is only part payment.

The relief, which the petitioners are seeking, cannot be granted. The petitioner shall be at liberty to approach the Land Acquisition Officer, Patna, to satisfy that the amount, which has been determined for payment has not been paid to them.

This application stands disposed of with the aforesaid liberty.
