In this case, the petitioner has made a prayer that he has wrongly been deprived of being selected in 53rd 54th and 55th of the Combined Joint (Preliminary) Competitive Examination, 2011, as the Advertisement was notified in Hindi Daily Newspaper "Hindustan" in the year 2011 for the Combined Joint (Preliminary) Competitive Examination, 2011 and he was one of the candidates in the said examination, was for the purposes of selection of Lecturer in the Management, (M.B.A), but as per the petitioner, he has wrongly been deprived of being selected which compelled him to approach this

In paragraph 12 of the counter affidavit, it has specifically been mentioned that the petitioner was a candidate of Extremely Backward Class (04) category, could not be declared successful in the Main Examination, as he has secured lesser marks less than the cut off marks fixed in his reserved category, he has secured 555 marks whereas the cut off marks was fixed 674 under the category of Extremely Backward Class.
