2. The present writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent authorities to consider and grant the Stamp Vendor License in favour of the petitioners on compassionate ground in pursuance to the departmental circular no. 2299 dated 27.09.2003.

3. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the case of the petitioner for compassionate grant of license was recommended by the District Magistrate, Araria in his Letter No. 715/Co but despite the same no further action was taken by the respondents despite several representations filed by the

Patna High Court CWJC No.6450 of 2014 dt.20-01-2016 petitioners much prior to Bihar Stamp (Amendment) Rules, 2008. It is stated that the last of the series of the representations was filed before the Collector, Araria dispatched by registered post on 07.03.2014, which is still pending.

4. Having heard the parties and having regard to the nature of the prayer of the petitioners, this Court is of the view that the ends of justice would be met by directing the Respondent No. 3 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's aforesaid representation dated 07.03.2014, if still pending.
