The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Dighalbank (Kodhobari) P.S. Case No. 84 of 2007 for the offence under Sections 323, 341, 324, 326, 307, 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, petitioner has been made accused in this case only on the basis of suspicion and during course of investigation, no any witnesses have supported the prosecution version. The petitioner is rotting in judicial custody since 19.11.2019.
