2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bathnaha P.S. Case No. 114 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8, 20(b)(ii)(B) of the NDPS Act.

3. The petitioner was caught with 9 kg of ganja and is in custody since 06.12.2025.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case and the ganja is alleged to have been planted by the police. He further submits that the petitioner has clean antecedent.

5. Considering the huge recovery of ganja, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the application stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach this Court if the trial is delayed by the prosecution.

7. It is, however, clarified that the observations made herein are limited to the adjudication of the present bail application and shall not prejudice the case of the petitioner at any subsequent stage of the trial and this Court has not express any opinion on the merits of the case.
