The petitioner, being husband, is in custody since 16.08.2017 in connection with S.T. No. 498/2017 (corresponding to Chandan P.S. Case No. 109 of 2017) for the offence registered under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that only allegation against the petitioner is that the deceased committed suicide due to some trivial issue of not letting her go to the Maikey on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. It is further submitted that the deceased itself having committed suicide the petitioner has nothing to do with the same.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24515 of 2019(7) dt.01-10-2019 2/2 the case and the alleged occurrence relating to dowry death, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. It is accordingly, rejected.

Trial of the case may be expedited so as to complete positively by the 30th of November, 2019.
