2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Jurawanpur P. S. Case No. 229 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 137(2), 96 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. Prosecution case, is to the effect that, when minor daughter of the informant had gone out to purchase some goods from the shop, all the F.I.R. named accused persons, including this petitioner, kidnapped her. During investigation, victim was recovered and in her statement recorded under Section 183 BNSS, has stated that this petitioner, co-accused Lalu Rai and Ranjay Rai kidnapped her and this petitioner and co-accused Lalu Rai raped her several times. 4. Considering the nature of accusation and statement of the victim recorded under Section 183 BNSS, prayer for regular bail of the petitioner is rejected.

5. However, since petitioner is in custody since 04.04.2025, Trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial, preferably, within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
