1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding and directing the respondent authorities to take appropriate action against Respondent No. 5 who is not following the affidavit which has been filed by him when he was seeking his appointment against the post of his mother who died due to harness when she was in her active Service.

(ii) Further for direction respondent authorities to the enquire to into the matter and take

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies, as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of her aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
