JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 20-09-2021 Heard Mr. Baidya Nath Thakur, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Md. Nadim Seraj, learned counsel for the Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga through video conferencing.

The grievance of the petitioner is that arrears of pension for the period 01.03.2000 to 31.05.2006 and amount of earned leave for 120 days have not been paid to the petitioner up till now.

Learned counsel for the Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga submits that petitioner has retired as University Professor and Head of the Department of Political Science on 29/02/2000 as such, he may be directed to file a detailed representation raising his grievance before the Vice Chancellor of the University within a time frame fixed by this Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Patna High Court CWJC No.9969 of 2020(4) dt.20-09-2021 2/2 petitioner is ready to file representation before the Vice Chancellor, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga i.e. Respondent No.-2 within a period of four weeks. In view of the submissions made by the parties, the petitioner is permitted to file a fresh representation before Respondent No.-2 i.e. Vice Chancellor, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga along with his claim within a period of four weeks from today and if such representation is filed, the Respondent No.-2 is directed to dispose of the same in accordance with law and by a reasoned order within a further period of three months from the date of receipt of the representation.

Needless to say that if any amount is found payable to the petitioner, the same shall be paid by the concerned respondent within a further period of one month from the date of disposal of the representation.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application is disposed of.
