JUSTICE RAJAN GUPTA) 24-03-2022 The petitioner has prayed for issuance of appropriate direction to the respondents to pay compensation of the vehicle (Bus) of the petitioner bearing registration nos. BR 1AP-8178 and BR 52A-8178 which was used by the State Government in Lok Sabha Election, 2019 for the period 05.04.2019 to 20.05.2019.

We dispose off the writ petition with a direction that

Patna High Court CWJC No.10866 of 2021(3) dt.24-03-2022 2/2 in case, the petitioner files a representation before the respondent no. 1 i.e. the Deputy Chief Election Officer-cumDeputy Secretary to the Government, Cabinet (Election) Department, Government of Bihar, Patna within two weeks from today, the respondent no. 1 shall take a decision thereon, within four weeks, thereafter. If any amount is found due, the same shall be released to the petitioner, forthwith. In case of further delay, the respondent no. 1 shall be at liberty to initiate disciplinary action against the officials responsible for delay.
