JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 11-04-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Patahi P.S. Case No. 70 of 1999 registered for the offences punishable under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code.
Earlier the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner was rejected taking note of allegation levelled against him but again anticipatory bail petition is filed on the ground that both parties have compromised the case.
Again, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to petitioner and accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail stands rejected.
