Petitioner seeks bail in Puraini P.S. Case No.28 of 2019 (Excise Case No.162 of 2019) instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged that 40 litres Mahua liquor has been recovered from the motorcycle. One Dinesh Kumar Singh was driving the motorcycle and this petitioner was found sitting on the motorcycle.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that Petitioner is in custody since 11.02.2019 having clean antecedents. In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22588 of 2019(2) dt.09-04-2019 2/2 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional District & Sessions Judge II cum Special Judge, Excise Act, Madhepura, in connection with Puraini P.S. Case No.28 of 2019 (Excise Case No.162 of 2019), subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
