JUSTICE RAJIV ROY ORAL ORDER 14-05-2026 Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for and is allowed to make necessary corrections in the list of respondents inasmuch as instead of the place Bhojpur at Ara it has been recorded as Patna at Patna.

2. The present petition has been preferred for: "(i) for issue a writ most probably of the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent authorities to release the vehicle (Truck) bearing registration no.- BR01GQ4668, Chassis no.-MAT466395G5 D06934;

(ii) for grant of any other relief/reliefs for which

3. Ms. Shruti Singh, learned counsel for the Mines Department submits that that the petitioner can move before the Mineral Development Officer, Bhojpur for the redressal of the grievance as also his claim.

4. Concerning the aforesaid facts, it is observed that if the petitioner prefers the petition before the Mineral Development Officer, Bhojpur in next four weeks, he/she is duty bound to take the matter to its logical conclusion within a period of eight weeks thereafter.

5. Since the truck has been seized on 07.03.2026 and is under the sky, the authorities are duty bound to ensure that the time frame allowed must be taken note of while disposing of the petition.

6. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
