This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 07 of 2022 arising out of Dharhara P.S. Case No. 105/2022 registered under section 332/333/353/307/504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 25(1B)s/26(ii)/27/35 of the Arms Act and 20/22 N.D.P.S. Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of one loaded country made pistol, five live cartridges and 1 Kg of contraband ganja has also been recovered. The petitioner is in custody since 16.11.2022.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25259 of 2023(2) dt.23-05-2023 2/2 Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, Accordingly this application for regular bail is dismissed.

The District Judge, Munger is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner in all cases registered against him as early as possible.
