Petitioner seeks bail in Excise Case No.51 of 2019 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(d) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, and Sections 2(e), 3, 5 and 13 of Mahua Flower Act, 2006.

It is alleged that 10 bags each containing 50 Kg. Mahua flower were recovered from the Bolero vehicle. The petitioner was also found sitting in the aforesaid vehicle. Counsel for the petitioner submits that Petitioner is in custody since 04.02.2019 having clean antecedents. In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner,

No.25335 of 2019(2) dt.23-04-2019 2/2 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise, Gaya, in connection with Excise Case No.51 of 2019, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
