ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 11-05-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State.
The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Gulthni P.S. Case No. 178 of 2014 for the offences registered under Section 364(A) of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners are not named in the FIR. The petitioners' name came into light on the confessional statement made by the co-accused, namely, Mantosh Turha. In the said confessional statement, it has been stated that he, alongwith one Mohit Tiwary and all his family members, took the child away and after stabbing, threw him into the canal.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.50620 of 2015 (8) dt.11-05-2016 Considering the heinous nature of allegation, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. It is, accordingly, rejected.
